A self-funded Agrie Conservation programme with no sponsor: installing oyster castles of Agrie Conservation’s own design in the intertidal zone of Tanjung Widoro. The design is inspired by the modular oyster reef units developed by Allied Concrete Company with The Nature Conservancy in Virginia, USA (2007). The structures are designed to provide substrate for oysters and other attached organisms and to dampen wave energy, in line with the ORCCA approach.
